His Inner Monster attempts to turn him with the promise of more strength. Jisu, however, helped snap him back to his senses and encouraged him to fight on with his own power. Hyun takes advantage of the Tongue Monster's attack to stick its tongue on to Mr. Kim, draining Mr. Kim of its organs and letting the survivors incinerate the remains. After his family died his depression became worse and he decided to kill himself after testing a new video game he was selected to try. He moved to Green Home and spent most of his time playing online video games and eating ramen and other kind of fast foods. A month before September 2020, Cha Hyun-Su arrives at Green Home Mansion Apartment.
After they leave, Dusik notes, with some disappointment, that his desire was to simply get his leg back. He stands up for the first time in years, vowing to not let a monster through. However, Dusik notes he is too late, but is brought to tears that someone ran back to save him. He succumbs to his injuries and and falls unconscious, only to reawaken as a monster moments later. On this, director Lee Eung-bok said that " know some of the viewers were anticipating more gore, but hope they will understand why monsters were absent from some parts of our drama." Lee Si-young as Seo Yi-kyung, a former firefighter whose fiancé disappeared two days before their wedding.
Sweet Home (TV series)
Go Yoon-jung as Park Yoo-ri, a senior caregiver who appears to have some training as a medical care professional. The children, a mother who lost her child, Jayhun, Hyun, and Jisu make it back to Dusik's apartment. It is there where Hyun admits he is infected and is in the process of turning into a monster himself. This creates some distrust in the group, particularly with Jisu, but they learn to put aside the feeling and start bonding.
However, Dusik's sclera is turned red with the left eye grossly enlarged. The monster had regrown Dusik's missing left leg, which is disproportionately more muscular than the other leg. This goes into the monster's ability, which is an extremely powerful kick.
Jung Jae-Heon
Later, Hyun-Su learns that he’s been selected as a tester for an upcoming new video game, but the day he was supposed to try this new video game coincides with his scheduled suicide date, 25th August. When he went to high school he had short hair but after his classmates began to bully him he stopped caring about his physical appearance. His hair grew longer and looked messy and he had bags under his eyes because of the lack of sleep.
He takes shelter in his apartment for safety, especially given his missing leg and broken elevators keep him from going anywhere else. Wook Pyeon and Hyun return to bring him to the lobby, which lets him repair the elevator. He then warns Jisu Yoon of the Snail Monster's ambush as the survivors try to clear the garage. At some point Hyuk Lee and Dusik create a risky last-resort plan to escape the apartment, using a makeshift harpoon and rope, in case of extreme emergencies. He eventually becomes a monster before giving his survivor friends time when he tries sacrificing in order to kill some monsters in the garage, and gets killed by Wook Pyeon. Kim Nam-hee as Jung Jae-heon, a Korean Language teacher and a devout Christian who lives in 1506.
Monster
One monster, the Flying Monster, breaks into the window and nearly abducts Jisu, who was willing to sacrifice herself so that Hyun didn't have to rely on monsterization to save her. Hyun snapped back to his senses and used his electric spear to shock the monster into retreating, although he had to impale Jisu to do so. After this attack, Dusik upgrades the cars, and Hyun is selected to go on a mission to retrieve food at a nearby grocery store. However, the party could not make it out of the parking lot before the Steroid Monster attacked.
He also narrowly survives an encounter with the Blind Monster after making several blunders that attract its attention. When criminals take over the building, Dusik is appraised of the situation. The two have a disagreement, which leads to Gapsu attempting to kill Dusik.
He finds himself caught in the middle of an apocalypse, he later gains the powers of the infected after merging with the beast inside him and becoming a superpowered being. Cha Hyun-Su is a loner high school student, who always played games online and didn't get along too well with his family. A car crash caused him to lose his parents and sister which left Hyun-Su all by himself. These feelings of joy were short lived as Wook realized Byeong ended up taking a prison bus with a criminal gang inside. As the criminals took over, Joon Shin, the gang leader, attempts to coerce Hyun into joining him but relents as he is not going to kill him while he is still useful.
As Mr. Kim attacks, Hyun is forced to argue with Byeong as he refuses to remove the barricades to let Hyun and Jisu fight. After getting to the lobby, Hyun saves Mr. Ahn, but is horrified and depressed to discover Jayhun has been killed. Additionally, he begins losing hope as Mr. Kim's durability makes his attacks near ineffective.
Even though after his depression and playing online games all the time, his body still looks fit and he also looks relatively strong. Hyun, Wook, and Myeong-Il rush up the stairs towards the roof. They hear Jisu's bass, and Hyun realizes exactly what she is doing. He calls upon his monstrous strength to boost his speed and strength to dash to his room, which is directly below Jisu's, to avoid the crowd of monsters on the 15th floor. However, she does not have time to snap Hyun out of it as the two prepare to face the oncoming horde.
He manages to keep the emergency plan a secret from the gang. However, when Dusik hears a monster horde is overrunning the barricades, he agrees the plan should be put to action. Dusik offers to sacrifice himself to hold the monsters back and secretly reveals to Hyuk that he is infected.
